eSaude Scrums Cancelled for Holidays

As most of our technical team is out on leave for the holidays, we are cancelling the scrums for the week of 21 December and 28 December.  We will resume our scrums on Monday 04 January in the New Year.  Happy Holidays everyone!

Technical Meeting:
  • 20 February 2014: Thursday morning 9am-noon at the ITECH Office 
  • OpenMRS Technical Architecture overview
  • Discussion: Technical training topics and order to address them
Implementer's Meeting:
  • 20 February 2014: Thursday afternoon 2pm-5pm at the ITECH Office 
  • Review of everyone’s implementation plan (using the Excel template from workshop
  • Review of EGPAF’s job descriptions for Project Manager and Developer/Technical staff 
  • Identification of problems in the plans 
    • where does anyone need assistance figuring out, 
    • where can partners share resources, 
    • what are the HR plans for each partner at this point 
  • HIS implementation research / interest for sub-saharan Africa 
  • Review and strategy for next step in planning

News: Technical Resources added to website

We've added a new tab to the website to list some of the technical resources that may be useful to developers, system administrators, and implementation analysts.  Since we are proposing Google Summer of Code mentoring for projects that would benefit eSaude, we've also listed those on this page with links to the OpenMRS global website where they live.

News: OpenMRS Mozambique Community Kickoff

The first event for the OpenMRS Mozambique community took place this week on 04 February - 05 February, 2014 at University of Washington I-TECH office in Maputo, Mozambique.  The event focused on the formation of the community, collaboration among implementers, and an overview of the Implementation Packet to begin planning for the implementations this year by the partners.  Lots of discussions, planning, and enthusiasm for moving forward together!  To read more about the event and to download the presentations and materials, click here.
